  2. This directory contains a database of all material on this CD-ROM that is
  3. included under the "BBS" directory.  To use it, click on the "ThisCD" icon
  4. and then use appropriate keyword patterns to find the material you are
  5. interested in.
  6.  
  7. As an example, the keyword "FrozenFish*" will find every single archive on
  8. the CD-ROM.  The keyword "UChess*" will locate versions of the port of GNU
  9. chess.
  10.  
  11. The database is generated automatically by using "pitool" to find all
  12. product info files on the CD-ROM.  Then "pi2loaddb" converts the accumulated
  13. product info information into a form that LoadDB understands.  Finally,
  14. LoadDB is run to generate the database.  The the "Makefile" file for
  15. details.

  17. Eventually there will be a complete database of all of my floppy library and
  18. important directories included on this and previous CD-ROM's, using the new
  19. product info specification for gathering the data.  See the file
  20. "Product-Infos" in the "Information" directory on this CD-ROM, for further
  21. information about the product info specification.
