  3.    For a description of the menu options click on the SCREEN and press
  4. the HELP key or choose HELP from the menu.
  5.  
  6. The status of everything in this window is saved with the data file.
  7.  
  8. >>> The following string gadgets are available:

  10. BOWLER
  11.    This is the same name that was already entered in the Team Editor.
  12.    If you change it here it will change in the Team Editor also.
  13.  
  14.    You may search for a bowler's name by entering a question mark
  15.    followed by a unique portion of the name in the gadget where you
  16.    would normally enter the bowler's name (either in the team editor
  17.    personnel window).  If a match is found it will be displayed, otherwise
  18.    the original bowler's name will reappear.  Regardless of where you
  19.    start the search the computer begins with the first bowler in the
  20.    Sub Team.  The search string is NOT case sensitive and may be any part
  21.    of the bowler's name.

  23. OFFICE
  24.    If the current bowler holds a league office click this gadget until
  25.    the office appears.  The options currently available are:
  26.       PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, TREASURER, SECRETARY/TREASURER
  27.       SGNT-AT-ARMS, CAPTAIN and the default, NO OFFICE.

  29.    NOTE: Currently there is no 'error' checking here.  Put another way,
  30.          you could make everyone in the league the president.

  32. ADDRESS
  33.    There are two lines for the bowler's mailing address.
  34.  
  35. PHONE
  36.    Enter the bowler's phone number here.  The program will format it
  37.    for you in one of two forms, either '123-4567' or '(123) 456-7890'.
  38.    If the numbers that you entered are too short or long to fit in one
  39.    of these formats an error message will be displayed.  If you live
  40.    in some far-away land that uses a different format you're SOL.

  42. SS # (Social Security Number)
  43.    The ABC likes Social Security numbers on the End-of-the-Year report.
  44.    This is where you enter them.  When you hit RETURN the program will
  45.    format the numbers like this '123-45-6789'.  The number must be 9
  46.    digits long or an error message will be displayed.  The exception to
  47.    this is if you enter a hyphen anywhere in the numbers the program
  48.    will NOT attempt to reformat the numbers.  This is handy when working
  49.    with Canadian Social Security numbers that are formatted in groups
  50.    of three (000-000-000).  Pressing RETURN on this will cause the next
  51.    bowler to be displayed, providing there is one.
  52.  
  53. TEAM #  &  BOWLER #
  54.    To the right of the PHONE the program will display the current team
  55.    number and bowler number on that team.  These are not editable.
  56.  
  57. PRINT
  58.    Will dump the current bowler to the bowler's information to the printer
  59.    regardless of the menu settings.
  60.  
  61. FREE or SYNCH
  62.    if the TEAM EDITOR window is open and SYNCH is selected the bowlers
  63.    in both windows will move together.  If FREE is chosen they will
  64.    scroll independently of each other.

  66. ARROW UP & ARROW DOWN
  67.    Scrolls you backward or forward one bowler until you release the left
  68.    mouse button or get to the beginning or end of the bowlers.
