-
- ReqTools Patcher
-
- PRE-RELEASE BETA!
-
- **********************************
-
- Pre-release of a patcher program that will re-route most functions from
- req.library, asl.library and arp.library to ReqTools.
-
- Currently only Req (completely), Arp (FileRequest) and Intuition
- (AutoRequest, EasyRequest on 2.0) are supported. RTPatch 0.91ß does not yet
- support Asl, nor does the Arp requester have a buffer. RTPatch 1.0 will
- support all above mentioned libraries. I will also try to support buffering
- in all requesters.
-
- The program has been pre-released so you may already have the pleasure of
- improved System Requesters and replacing req.library with reqtools.library.
-
- RTPatch is NOT public domain, it is Copyright © 1992 Nico François.
- RTPatch 0.91ß may be freely copied, BUT ONLY AS PART OF THE COMPLETE REQTOOLS
- PACKAGE!! Read the ReqTools DISTRIBUTION file for more info.
-
- NOTE: Run RTPatch when *NO* program has req.library or arp.library open!
- RTPatch will complain if one of these libraries is in use and will
- refuse to install or remove patches.
-
- NOTE: When run from Workbench RTPatch will not display anything when it
- installs the patches. This is done so you may drag RTPatch to
- your WbStartup drawer (Workbench 2.0 users only).
-
- RTPatch only takes 2152 bytes of memory once installed. It takes _NO_
- processor time while installed.
-
-
- Enjoy.
