  25. To install, just extract the zip file you received on registering to your hosts VST plugins directory and follow your hosts instructions for VSTi plugins.

  30. What is GIDE?
  31. GIDE is an acronym but I won't tell you what for ;)
  32. I suppose it's a plucked string.  Will that do?

  44. 3) GIDE is made in three parts, each part behaving as if it were in a chain of hardware devices.
  45. The first part of the chain being the synth its self (Top left box).  The filter is the semi circle to the right.The Chorus is the bottom left box.

  50. This determines how long the note lasts (sustain)
  51.  
  52. Damp
  53. Adds a damping effect to the sound (similar to palm mute)
  54.  
  55. Vol
  56. Controls the overall volume

  58. Chaos
  59. Determines the amount of chaos (eh?)

  61. Bri
  62. Controls the brilliance of the synth

  67. Filter cut off frequency

  76. Nothing to do with the filter, it selects the midi channel

  81. Turns the chorus on or off respectively.

  84. Controls the amount of detuning effect the chorus has on the synth.

  87. Determines how much of the chorused signal is mixed with the original.

  90. Allows you to set the speed of the chorus effect.

  111. This synth is capable of creating some outrageous noises, some of which may damage your ears, your audio system or nearby buildings.  Firstly we accept no responsibility for any loss whatsoever to the aforementioned or anything else whether it be directly related to using GIDE or not.
  112. Due to long sustain times high polyphony counts can occur, thought your host may only tell you the count is small, due to its internal structure the number of voices can be quite high.  Your CPU will suffer if you are not careful
