This little program offers you to change the screen resolution not
only in usual way (640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768) but you can
change the resolution down to 640x400, 512x384, 400x300,
320x240 and 320x200 pixels too (which generally isn't supported in
other software).
If you own an operating system where you can't change to a
desktop resolution lower than 800x600 you have a chance to run
this peace of software and you will be able to change screen
resolution in the way you want.
HOW TO USE THIS SOFTWARE?
Right-click on the tray icon, select the color depth you want and
then select your wanted resolution. If nothing happened then your
computer monitor, operation system and/or a video card don't
support selected resolution or there may be some other unknown
reason depending on your system configuration. If you can't
change to the resolution you want we cannot help you.
Warning: Some resolutions are mostly used only in games and
cannot be changed through the standard Windows desktop
properties but could be changed with the help of this program.
We cannot guarantee that any resolution in StandardScreen system tray
menu will work with your video card and/or with other software and
hardware. It's also possible that changing resolution in
non-standard desktop resolution can lead to a damage in your
hardware.
And as you have probably already read: Installation and execution
of this software is entirely at your own risk!
INSTALLATION:
Put sscreen.exe in a folder where you want to have the program (if you want you can create a shortcut on your desktop). When you click the program it automatically puts itself in a system tray. Right click on its icon in a system tray will show you the resolutions you can select.
