  9. In the historical reality, the french army attack the russian center with Augereau's 
  10. corps but failed due to a violent snow storm. The russians counter-attack with 4000
  11. grenadiers. The Great Army is in a bad position but Murat restore the situation by
  12. means of the largest cavalry charge of Nopoleonic wars : 10000 cavalry men crush
  13. the russian center but suffer many looses. In the same time, Davout success in 
  14. passing round the enemy but is stop by the arrival of Lestocq.

  16. By 19:00 PM, Ney arrive with 10000 men and Bennigsen order the retreat. But the french 
  17. army is too tired for the pursuit. This battle is the bloodiest of the napoleonic wars : 
  18. 18000 deads for the frenchs and 25000 for the russians. It is also half a victory for 
  19. Napoleon, but some months later, at Friedland, the russian army will be definitively 
  20. rushed.
