  9. Player two, you are Kutuzov and you command the combined russian army.

  11. After the fight of Smolensk, the russian army has withdrawed again but
  12. you have finaly replaced Barclay de Tolly and decided to accept the battle
  13. near the small village of Borodino.
  14.  
  15. Your position is exellent, with the strong entrenchments of the great 
  16. redoubt and the fleches in the center. Over half your army faced northward 
  17. along the south bank of the Kolocha river; your left wing, facing west, 
  18. ran from the Great Redoubt to the south of Borodino. The line continued 
  19. south through the village of Semenovskoe, past the three large open-ended 
  20. redoubts of the flΦches, then south to the village of Utitza and on to the 
  21. thick woodland.

  23. The french army arrived the 5th and no major engagement occurs yesterday.
  24. But at 6 tis morning, the french gun have just begun to open fire for a 
  25. decisiv battle...
