by Kezoomer of The Lost Souls One dark, windy night a silent wanderer came to the small village of Thaeron. His face was old, but his eyes were filled with a strange glow. He walked straight to a little house, where a mother and her little son lived. As he entered the room, the woman looked up on him with a face full of fear, but when their eyes met, she calmed down. She walked over to the cradle, lifted her son up, and handed him gently to the old man. As he left, a tear found its way down her face, even though she didn't know why. Many years passed, and the two lonely travellers finally approached the destination of their very long journey. After walking several days in wind and snow, a valley appeared out of nothing. The grass was green, the birds sang, and people walked happily about in the streets. The boy gazed up towards the sky... There he saw something he never had seen before. High up above the valley, a great castle was floating with a crimson orb around it. As he walked through the streets, people fell on their knees before him...
