-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the release date for Devil May Cry 2 looming ever nearer, I decided to
create a theme and post it on the Web as it has been half completed for ages now.
It's pretty much the way I want it but I may end up tweaking it slightly.
Look out for my second Devil May Cry theme which I will hopefully finish soon.
Thank you for trying out this theme... I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
LET'S ROCK BABY!
First off, the contents of this zip as follows:
Several Wallpapers, Cursors and Icons, Sounds, Logos, Web Views and a Screensaver.
I left some extra cursors and an alternate Windows Start up sound file as well.
General Theme Installation:
---------------------------------
1) Open the zip file using Winzip.
2) Select the Devil May Cry self extracting theme installer and follow the onscreen setup.
3) This will automatically create a "Devil May Cry" folder in your themes directory and extract
the files there.
Applying your new Devil May Cry theme
------------------------------------------------
If you're a newbie at themes and have not installed any theme management software, apply the theme
in the following way, depending on your operating system.
FOR WINDOWS 95/98/ME USERS
If you are using a previous version of windows, right click on the desktop and select the themes tab.
Then select the Devil May Cry theme for whatever your display size is and enjoy.
I highly recommend using the theme manger Desktop Architect which can be found on the Emergency section at
'http:\\www.themedoctor.com'. This application enables the management of webview images as well as your
start up and shut down logos.
FOR WINDOWS XP USERS
You can change themes by right clicking on an empty space on your desktop and selecting
properties, then by choosing the themes tab. Select the Devil May Cry theme for whatever your display size
is and enjoy. Windows XP users have the option for one of the themes to use the 'Luna' Windows XP style
which has been set to 'metallic silver' style.
Windows XP does not currently allow changes in logos or webview images unfortunately.
All themes work on XP but some themes will be in the Windows Classic style.
Screensaver
-----------
I have supplied my own screensaver with images taken from the Graphics sources listed below. It's a bit
of a mix in images, but I think that they are cool.
Double click the file "DMC Screensaver" and follow the onscreen instructions. It should put the screensaver
in C:/Windows as the file DMC.exe
