1. INTRODUCTION
TClockEx enhances the standard Windows 9x/NT/2000 clock that is built
into the taskbar, providing the ability to display the time AND date in
any format you choose. Additional features include a popup calendar,
clipboard interaction, resource and CPU monitoring, user-definable
display elements, Internet time, and customisable colour and font
options.
This program is Freeware. Please use and distribute with my pleasure!
See the accompanying help file, TCLOCKEX.HLP, for conditions of use and
the disclaimer message.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. HOW TO INSTALL
TClockEx is self-installing. Just run the distribution file which you
downloaded and follow the instructions. The distribution file is named
either TCLOCKEX.EXE or TCLEXxxx.EXE, where xxx is the version number.
When the installation is complete, there will be a new icon in your
Start menu called "TClockEx", that starts the program. TClockEx is pre
configured to load automatically every time Windows boots up.
Alternatively you may have downloaded the non-self-installing
distribution file, named TCLOCKEX.ZIP or TCLEXxxx.ZIP, in which case you
should use a decompression utility such as PkUnzip or WinZip to unpack
the file into a suitable directory (such as C:\Program Files\TClockEx),
then run TCLOCKEX.EXE to start the program. If you do not know what to
do with Zip files, please use the self-installing distribution instead.
IF YOU ARE UPGRADING, PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHUT THE OLDER VERSION DOWN
FIRST, OTHERWISE THE UPGRADE MAY FAIL.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. HOW TO UNINSTALL
Go to "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel, and uninstall TClockEx
from there in the usual manner.
If that doesn't work, you can manually delete all the files in the
TClockEx program directory, usually C:\Program Files\TClockEx.
Remember to exit TClockEx before uninstalling!
