  36. 1. Improved Multi-line Fields (Addresses and Notes) entry mechanism. 
  37.    Now the user can enter multi-line addresses and Notes using the "ENTER" Key
  38.    To go to the next line. In the past only "SHIFT->ENTER" provided the same
  39.    functionality. 
  40. 2. Modifications and new entries are accepted and saved as soon as user moves to
  41.    another application or moves to another contact. This reduces chances of loss
  42.    of data that was entered most recently even if user forgets to press "ENTER".
  43. 3. Users can now press "F1" Key to get instant help on many widgets.
  44. 4. Some minor bugs in CSV import/export are fixed. 
  45. 5. Uninstallation problems: 
  46.       Shortcut in startup folder are now removed automatically. 
  47.       Some files were not uninstalled. These files are removed now by 
  48.       unistaller. 
  49. 6. In release 1.45 the installation program gave a warning that Template help
  50.     file is read-only. This problem has been fixed.
  51. 7. For the convenience of shareware/Freeware Distribution websites, 
  52.    "pad_file.xml" has been included. 
  53.    This file can be used for automatic listing of our software.
  54. 8. Some Re-painting problems are fixed. In release 1.45, some users reported 
  55.    about not being able to see the "notes" field in certain scenarios. 
  56.    This problem has been fixed.
  57. 9. While installing the PRO release the program now asks for User's Name and
  58.    Serial Number "before" uninstalling the existing software. Therefore, 
  59.    PRO users that have misplaced or lost their serial numbers can still use
  60.    the existing software while waiting for their Serial number to be e-mailed.
  61. 10.Users can now export selected fields of Contacts to Visual Contact Format. 
  62.    Earlier versions disregarded user's selections and exported ALL fields.
  63. 11.Freeware installation program does not ask for registration information any
  64.    more.
  65. 12."nosplash.reg" file has been included in both freeware and pro versions.
  66.    Users who do not want to see the splash screen when the program starts can
  67.    double click this file once and get rid of the splash screen.
  68. 13.The software did not recognize certain protocols in the URL field. It now 
  69.    recognizes following protocols:

  93. Fixed the following bugs.. 
  94. 1. Fixed the crash bug in the quick keys context menu in the tray icon.
  95. 2. Removing quick key from context menu does not crash the 
  96.    program any more.
  97. 3. Ctrl + Tab now takes to successive panes in the main view
  98. 4. Alt + L takes the focus to find edit box in the toolbar.
  99. 5. Fixed a weird bug in the quick lookup toolbar which showed 
  100.    a wrong message bos for the empty search string. 
  101. 6. Fixed another bug in the quick lookup toolbar which caused 
  102.    the focus lost from the edit box once the search string 
  103.    is not found in the local database. 
  104. 7. Alt + hotkey letter takes you to the right edit field in 
  105.    the contact view now.
  106. 8. Phone and Fax Numbers which started with alpha characters 
  107.    could never be dialed. Now this problem has been fixed. 
  108. 9. Fixed the focus problem when the program starts. Now the 
  109.    address book view has the default focus.

  113. 1. Added right click quick key context menu in the system tray icon. Now you 
  114.    can access your quick keys from the system even if the program is minimized. 
  115. 2. Added extended tool-tips for quick keys in the Quick Key view.

  117.    contacts in the quick keys.

  125. 1. Quick keys: With quick keys you can access most frequently contacted contacts
  126.    with a single mouse click. These keys are customizable and you can have 
  127.    different set of keys for each view i.e. you can program separate quick keys 
  128.    for dialing, sending emails, browsing, and writing letters.
  129. 2. Navigation Buttons: Now A1 Visual Contact remembers your navigation history 
  130.    when you view contacts in the address book. You can trace back you activity
  131.    anytime. 
  132. 3. The groups are moved to the top in the address book view. 
  133. 4. Drag and drop Bookmarks. Now you can drag a bookmark from Internet Explorer
  134.    or Netscape Communicator and drop it on A1 Visual Contact to create new 
  135.    entries.
  136. 5. You can now duplicate existing contacts. Simply select a contact, change its
  137.    name and press Enter key, the program will ask you if you want to create a 
  138.    new contact or just want to modify the existing contact.
