Silvermoon is a unique role-playing game for one person that combines
a certain "necessary" amount of hack and slash with ingenuity and intuition.
... only the strong and SMART survive, and even then it will probably take
a person many attempts at the game to win. The games' most unique aspect is
undoubtedly the fact that for each character the world is different. Cities,
roads, keeps, monestaries, pyramids, dragon caves, deserts, swamps, lakes,
dungeons, are in different places for each new character. Monster encounters
will vary with locale, luck, and level. Use common sense. Try to get rumors
at the bars. Read the wisdom of dead adventurers gone before thee. Fight when
you're strong, defend, spellcast, run, or bribe when you are weak. Use the
spacebar to rest when you can. Go to the castle in the city to determine your
quest. The idea, once you win, is to acquire the most gold you can, and still
achieve your goal. You can move around the screen with the keyboard arrows
(not in numlock) or the character will follow the mouse arrow when clicked.
Don't enter the pyramids or dragon cave until you are strong. The pyramids
are best navigated through with the keyboard. To start the game, type silver.
