  2. The Code Red internet worm exploits IIS security bugs to infect
  3. Windows machines. This worm was reported in 2001, and made big
  4. news at the time. It has been brought under control, but there
  5. are still plenty of hosts that are still infected and scanning
  6. to propagate the worm.

  8. The following is a list of hosts (by IP number) that have been
  9. caught attempting to propagate the worm. If your IP is on the
  10. first list, then it is a candidate for being denied access to
  11. http on icarus.com machines. If it is on the second list, it has
  12. already been added to the block list.
