  20. Hey cool! A Doom sample bank and it turned out better than expected! The explosions
  21. sound excellent and the grunts of the monsters fit in exceptionally well. Only drawback
  22. is there isn't any speech, only sound fx. But on the other hand it makes the archive 
  23. smaller!

  27. How I made it

  30. I used WinTex to extract all the samples to wav format and listened to every on of
  31. them. I renamed the ones I thought would fit in and then compiled them into the sample
  32. bank. What .. you didn't convert them into raw format I hear you say? No, I tested out
  33. Jon Skeets Sample bank compiler with the wav support in and it's turned out fine. Only
  34. problem with it is the amount of typing involved!

  42. Simply copy unzip doomworm.zip and place doomworm.sfx in the

  44. WORMPLUS\DATA\CUSTOM\SFX
  45.  
  46. directory.  Load up Worms REINFORCEMENTS and go to Team Entry, select DOOMWORM from
  47. the sample set.  Now play a game and listen.
