1.1 Update Overview
Install / Patching Phoenix:
It is strongly recommended that you read this document
fully to get the most recent information about key issues
related to the installation content and general updating
of the Phoenix patch. This will enable you to get the
maximum benefit from the game update and ensure that
you have trouble-free play.
Patching software involves updating to the latest version
currently available. This improves compatibility with
hardware and software configurations by addressing
problems only found post-release or others that could
not be addressed during stages of development. With
Phoenix, as with all software, it is important to keep up
to date to ensure that the version you are playing is the
most recent one. If you are currently satisfied with the
game, it isn't necessary to install the patch, however if
you are having problems, it is recommended that you do
so. Installation is fairly simple, access the patch file on
your computer, double click it and it will automatically
attempt to locate and update your current version.
Note: Phoenix has been developed and tested under
Windows 95/98 environment and is not guaranteed fully
compatible under either WindowsNT4.0 or Windows
2000 Professional Operating Systems.
