  1. Hytelnet for the Macintosh version 6.6
  2.  
  3. Hytelnet is a user friendly front end to a large database of
  4. internet accessable library and information servces.
  5.  
  6. This file is a binhexed self extracting archive that contains:
  7.     - Hytelnet Reader
  8.     - Information document in old MacWrite format
  9.     - Hytelnet Data files.
  10.  
  11. The file may be un-binhexed using one of the following programs:
  12.     - mcvert available on many Unix hosts
  13.     - Any of the stuffit line of programs (stuffit expander,
  14.       stuffit deluxe, stuffit lite)
  15.     - Compator pro
  16.     - binhex 4.0
  17.     - A variety of other archiving packages
  18.  
  19. The Macintosh version will:
  20.     - automatically open NCSA telnet 
  21.       and connect to remote sites.
  22.     - update the Hytelnet database using files from the
  23.       HYTEL-l list serv or usenet group.
  24.     - Read PC files over a network.  It will also update
  25.       a networked PC database from the Hytel-l list serv files.
  26.     
  27. Essential Files:
  28.     - HyperCard 2.1 (or HyperCard Player)
  29.     - System 7.0 is prefered
  30.     - Hytelnet data directory and files.
  31.
