  6. Thank you for your interest in Update Toolkit.

  8. This program runs under 32 bit windows only. Be sure to see the
  9. 'readme.txt' and 'uptdkt.hlp' file before you use Update Toolkit.

  11. To install Update Toolkit:
  12. --------------------------

  14. 1 - Unzip the archive into the subdirectory of your choice.  We suggest
  15. using 
  16.       c:\tools\updtkt
  17.       
  18. although any subdirectory will do.
  19.  
  20. 2 - Create a shortcut to launch updtkt.hlp if you like.
  21.  
  22. Note that updtkt.exe is a command line only application. There is
  23. no reason to create a windows shortcut to updtkt.exe
  24.  
  25. 3 - (Optional) A collection of sample scripts, a Readme.txt, and 
  26. some sample files are in, 'SampleScripts.zip'. Unzip this if you want
  27. into the path of your choice. If you use the subdirectory heirarchy in 
  28. this zip and unzip into C:\TOOLS\UPDTKT you can use the scripts as is.
  29. If you unzip into another path the paths in the script files and .bat 
  30. will need to be changed to suit your installation.

  36. 1 - Delete the files in the subdirectory you created above.

  38. 2 - Delete any shortcuts you created to the program hlp.

  40. 3. - Delete the test scripts & subdirectories if you used them.
