  7. Thank you for your interest in FSHED!

  9. To install FSHED, follow the instructions below. You can also
  10. download a self-installing version of FSHED shareware from our web
  11. site, http://www.funduc.com.com.  The self-install version
  12. installs the program into the directory of your choice and
  13. automatically sets up Start Menu shortcuts. The self-install also
  14. creates an uninstall menu item in Control Panel, Add/Remove
  15. Programs.

  19. Installation Instructions for Windows XP and above
  20. -------------------------------------------------------

  22. 1. Unzip the contents of the archive into the subdirectory of 
  23. your choice.  We suggest using 
  24.      C:\Tools\FSHED
  25. although any subdirectory will do. 
  26.  
  27. 2. Create a shortcut to launch FSHED.EXE (32-bit version) or
  28. FSHED64.exe (64-bit version) if you like.
  29.  
  30. NOTE: The program can also be run directly from a USB/Portable
  31. drive. Simply unzip the files into the subdirectory of your choice
  32. and launch FSHED.EXE or FSHED64.exe.  Please use the 64-bit
  33. version only on a 64-bit system.

  36. Uninstall Instructions

  39. 1. Close FSHED.

  41. 2. Delete the files you unzipped in step 1 of the install
  42. instructions.

  44. 2. Delete any program shortcuts you created to the files.
