  8. Directory Toolkit for Windows (shareware) - A multipurpose
  9. directory and file utility that provides features missing from
  10. Windows NT/2000/XP Pro & Home, Windows 2003, and Windows Vista
  11. (all versions). It displays single directory lists or side-by-side
  12. directory comparisons using color coding for alike, different, or
  13. missing files. Directory comparisons can be based on dates or a
  14. binary file analysis of actual file content. You can copy, move, &
  15. rename files while retaining long filenames and six built-in
  16. synchronize functions simplify updating directories. Built-in
  17. archive functions, with Explorer shell extensions, let you create
  18. & manage ZIP archives from Explorer and Directory Toolkit can
  19. serve as your primary archive manager for supported archives. File
  20. operations (copy, move, delete, rename) and directory comparison
  21. functions work seamlessly on files in archives, e.g., no need to
  22. manually extract files first.

  260. - You can select several files and/or directories from the Explorer, 
  261.   right-click and select Add to ZIP file.  Also, archives in the 
  262.   form of self-extracting executables in PKZIP format can be 
  263.   right-clicked and opened as archives. 
  264. - You can now synchronize ZIP files to directories or to other ZIP 
  265.   files as well as directories to directories.  ZIP files and 
  266.   directories can be created (enter the name in the main dialog or

  268. - A Network button is available for Windows 95 and NT 4.0 users 
  269.   in the Select Directory window. 
  270. - Older files are displayed in blue (reversed icon for color-blind
  271.   users) in Comparison View, when not using Binary Compare

  355. Search and Replace looks through multiple files for a string
  356. and can also replace it with another string.  It can search
  357. subdirectories and ZIP files and do case sensitive or
  358. insensitive searches.  Extensive support for regular expression
  359. (egrep) search & replacement includes operations that span
  360. more than one line, insertion of the path & filename during
  361. replacements, and incrementing number replacements.
  362. Binary search & replace mode can be combined with regular
  363. expressions.  Precise control over replacements is available
  364. through multiple confirmation options and a built-in context
  365. viewer that allows you to view replacements in-context,
  366. before they are made.  A built-in script editor makes frequent
  367. &/or complex multi-step search/replace operations easy to
  368. prepare.  Advanced script operations include a boolean
  369. expression evaluator that provides additional control over
  370. which files are processed by the script. Advanced scripts
  371. also allow you to specify the program options in effect
  372. and insert comments in scripts. Multiple file masks and file
  373. date & size filters can be used to include &/or exclude files
  374. during regular and scripted operations.  The internal context
  375. viewer includes a build-in editor for editing text files.

  377. script launching) is ideal for network managers & advanced

  388. Registry Toolkit (shareware) - Registry Toolkit is a utility for 
  389. advanced computer users that performs search &/or replacement 
  390. operations on the Windows 95/98/NT registry. You can 
  391. search/replace using case sensitive or insensitive settings and
  392. regular expressions in registry data, values, keys (or any 
  393. combination) and specify the types of data to process. If you 
  394. cancel a search the results up to that point (if any) are 
  395. displayed in a tree list. You can print and print preview the
  396. search results, import or export parts of the registry to/from
  397. text files, create and edit keys, values, & data of all types, 
  398. delete keys & values (after confirmation), and undo the last 
  399. changes made. Registry Toolkit will operate on a remote 
  400. registry (if you have permission to do so).  Cost: $25
  401.  
  402. Shortcut Doctor for Windows 95/NT (shareware) - Shortcut Doctor
  403. allows you to check all your links/shortcuts and see which contain
  404. targets which can no longer be found.  You can then delete the
  405. shortcuts, resolve them or replace all shortcuts pointing to a
  406. certain drive or directory with another (after validation of new
  407. path is made). Individual shortcuts can be edited and all shortcuts
  408. on a drive can be displayed, regardless of whether they are valid or
  409. not.  CD-ROM drives or network drives can be ignored during
  410. processing. Cost: $15.

  412. Funduc Explorer Extensions (shareware) - Explorer Extensions allow
  413. you to perform additional tasks using a familiar interface: the
  414. Windows 95/NT Explorer.  You can split and concatenate files to/from
  415. diskettes; Encode/Decode UUENCODE, Base64(Mime), BinHex(Mac), and
  416. XXENCODE formats (Decode also includes printable, 7 bit unencoded, &
  417. plain text), Touch files (change time/date stamp as well as
  418. attributes). Cost: $15.
  419.  
  420. Drive Bar (shareware) - Drive Bar allows you to conveniently 
  421. open views of your drives in Windows Explorer. Drive Bar's Auto 
  422. Hide function allows it to disappear from view when not in use so 
  423. that it does not take up screen space when not in use. You can 
  424. resize Drive Bar and have it remain visible at all times if you 
  425. like. You can also specify a File Manager program to use instead 
  426. of Windows Explorer, launch drive views as "Tiled" or not, not 
  427. include specified drives in the list of drive icons, and have 
  428. Drive Bar run automatically at Windows startup (see Options). 
  429. Cost: $10.
  430.  
  431. Sort and Slice (shareware) - Sort and Slice allows easy sorting 
  432. and/or reformatting of Column Delimited files.The program can 
  433. skip header lines, use regular expressions to process variable 
  434. data and has a User Interface that allows the user to graphically 
  435. determine the correct processing parameters. You can also remove 
  436. repeat lines from files and pad fields during the sort. Command 
  437. line switches and scripts are available to easily manage frequent 
  438. operations. Cost: $25.
  439.  
  440. Delivery Agent (shareware) - Delivery Agent is a send-only email 
  441. program for use by web site managers and network administrators. 
  442. It allows you to easily deliver frequently used email messages 
  443. (& attachments) as text files, which can then be sent to one or 
  444. more users by simply selecting a message and entering the users' 
  445. addresses or by providing a file that contains a list of addresses. 
  446. The settings & message files may be managed with a text editor 
  447. if you like and the program can keep a log of message activity. 
  448. The program uses SMTP services for message delivery and does a 
  449. POP check prior to sends for servers that require IP address 
  450. verification before relaying is permitted. Cost: $25.
  451.  
  452. HexView for Windows 95/NT (freeware) -  HexView allows you to view,
  453. print, print preview of any file as a Hex Dump.  HexView is
  454. intended as a free companion program to our utility, Search and
  455. Replace. However, it is a standalone application and you are free
  456. to use it as you see fit.  The source code (C++ using MFC 4.x or
  457. higher) can be downloaded for free from http://www.funduc.com.

  459. INI to Registry for Windows 95/NT (freeware) - This program works 
  460. well with any program that relies on .ini files.  It can read the 
  461. contents of any INI file and load them into the Windows 95/NT 
  462. registry.  That way programs which previously used INI files can 
  463. read the old data from the registry.  The program is free.  The 
  464. source code is available for 25.  Please E-MAIL info@funduc.com for

  467. Decode Windows 95 Shell Extension (freeware) - This Explorer 
  468. extension provides a subset of the decoding features available in 
  469. Directory Toolkit.  It allows you to decode a UUENCODED, XXENCODED, 
  470. BinHex or Base64(MIME) file by simply right-clicking on it in the 
  471. Explorer and selecting Decode from the menu.  It supports multiple 
  472. attachments, multi-part files (already concatenated), XXENCODED and 
  473. User (table) encoded files in addition to UUENCODED, Base64(MIME) 
  474. and BinHex (Mac format) files.
  475.  
  476. Count Characters (freeware) - This little app was written to: a)
  477. Allow users to dump the contents of combo, edit and list boxes as
  478. well as static and button fields to the clipboard.  This can come in
  479. handy for browser lists, as well as items displayed by other
  480. applications to which you otherwise have no access.  b) To help
  481. users understand how applications are built (what types of controls
  482. are used).  Other tools are available for this of course but they
  483. are usually known only to programmers.  c) To allow users to know at
  484. any time how many characters they have typed in an edit box.  This
  485. might be useful, for example, if a site asks you to only enter a
  486. certain amount of data in their fields but don't tell you that you
  487. went over until it's too late.  Depending on the editor, html
  488. authors might also find this handy for double checking the length of
  489. meta tags.  Separate Win3x & Win 95/98/NT versions included.

  491. Limit Edit (freeware) - Expands upon the built-in limit feature 
  492. for edit boxes and rich edit controls by letting you set your 
  493. own maximum size settings for the amount of text permitted in edit

  504. single GUI .EXE. Compression can be used to reduce file size. You 
  505. can require passwords (or not). Files on users' machines can be 
  506. updated from a specific version, added regardless of existing

  510. Decode/Encode DLLs can be called from any Windows programming 
  511. language (such as VB, Visual C, Powerbuilder, etc.).  It allows 
  512. you to automatically detect if a given file is UUENCODED, 
  513. Base64(MIME), XXENCODED, BinHex or encoded with a user-supplied 
  514. table.  The DLL can then decode the file(s) either in the current 
  515. directory or in one specified by the user. Binary files can also be 
  516. encoded for transmission over the Internet.  Cost: $58.
