  10. The Decode Shell Extension v4.6 adds a Decode menu item to your
  11. Windows Explorer context menu (right mouse button menu) and File
  12. menu.
  13.  
  14. Decode Shell Extension is compatible with Windows 95/98/ME
  15. NT/2000/XP (Pro and Home).

  26. To use Decode Shell Extension, first use your E- MAIL software and
  27. the File/Save menu to save the message to a text file. Then use
  28. the Windows Explorer to select the file, right-click and pick the
  29. Decode menu.

  31. The extension will then analyze the file and if it detects a
  32. Base64(MIME), yEnc, UUENCODED, BinHex, XXE, plain text or quoted-
  33. printable encoded file, it will prompt you if you want to decode
  34. it (and tell you the file name).  To change the file name or where
  35. it is saved, use the button provided.  If a file name is missing,
  36. the extension will use a default name.

  38. Decode Shell Extension is Freeware. The program is free and you
  39. may use it for as long as you like.

  51. The newest enhancements include support for multiple file
  52. decoding, better detection of the encoding format, stripping of
  53. paths from the file name (if found) and handling of multi-part
  54. attachments (previously concatenated) and multiple attachments in
  55. one file. MIME(Base64) encoded files will now be decoded even if
  56. no file name can be detected.  Quoted- printable files can also be
  57. decoded and a button allows you to confirm decoding of all files
  58. found in one attachment.
