  16.  This file contains important information about the installation procedure

  20.  2. Check your existing installation
  21.  
  22.  Please make sure you have the following products completely installed:

  24.    - XbToolsIII 1.10.054
  25.  
  26.  If this is not the case, install XbToolsIII completely new from your CD-ROM.

  28.  2.1 Note for Xbase++ 1.1. Users
  29.  
  30.      This release of the XbToolsIII requires Alaska Xbase++ 1.2 installed.

  33.  2.2 Note for Blinker 5.0 Users

  35.      Copy the files from the directory ..\LIB\COFF into ..\LIB before you
  36.      proceed with the Service Level installation.

  40.  3. Copy the Service Level 1 file
  41.  
  42.  Download the file XBTW32E1.EXE to your computer:

  44.  Now, copy the file XBTW32E1.EXE to the root path of your current 
  45.  XbToolsIII installation.

  47.    [C:\ALASKA\XBTW32]copy \<your download-dir>\XBTW32E1.EXE  .\

  49.  NOTE: If you have received the Service Level on CD-ROM, you must copy
  50.  the SL-1 file to the harddisk of your computer. SL-1 cannot be applied
  51.  from CD-ROM!

  55.  4. Apply the changes 
  56.  
  57.  The XBTW32E1.EXE is a self-extracting archive with an auto-start 
  58.  feature. It unpacks the necessary files and applies all 
  59.  changes automatically.

  61.  To install the Service Level 1, enter on the DOS prompt:
  62.  
  63.    [C:\ALASKA\XBTW32]XBTW32E1.EXE
  64.  
  65.  Watch out for any error messages and/or check the SERVICE.LOG for
  66.  error messages.
  67.  
  68.  The patch works incremental. If you cancel the process or if an 
  69.  error occurs which you are able to resolve, you can restart the 
  70.  process at any time by entering on the DOS prompt:

  72.    [C:\ALASKA\XBTW32]SERVICE.EXE
