The date is fast approaching and we promise you it will be one of the best reunions yet. What a great chance to renew friendships and reminisce with old classmates and teachers. There will also be many exciting activities for you to participate in...all planned with you in mind. Attached you will find an itinerary for July 10 - 13 as well as an event registration form for you to fill out and return back to the All School Reunion committee.┬á Please fill out the form and return it to PO Box 105, McGregor, MN┬á 55760.┬á Events will be open to the community after June 25, 2013 giving you the first chance to participate. Lee Wencl, co-founder of Shadowcasters is a 1975 graduate of MHS. He and his band will perform at the Community Center entertaining the All School Reunion audience with a wide variety of music from Waylon Jennings, The Beatles, Johnny Cash to Tom Petty and Alan Jackson. ┬á During the show you may grab a bite to eat or a cold beverage from the McGregor Lions Club and sit back and enjoy the music. Grab your family, friends and classmates; come with your lawnchair and kick back and enjoy the show! CASH AWARD BINGO Wednesday, July 10 starting at 6pm. FRIENDS OF DON SATHER 5K RUN/WALK Saturday, July 13 starting at 9am at the McGregor Track Register at the MHS Breakfast or online at <a href="http://www.FriendsOfDonSather.org">http://www.FriendsOfDonSather.org</a> Sponsored by Friends of Don Sather Friends of Don Sather is a not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) organization that was created to honor and commemorate our friend who left us far too early. Don was born on July 12th, 1956 in Aitkin, MN and lived his whole life in McGregor, MN. He was an avid sportsman, athlete and community activist who gave his all for his friends, church and community. Don was stricken with ALS, also known as Lou Gherig's Disease, and passed away on March 18, 2009 at the age of 52 years young. Don's friends were, and still are, so touched by his friendship, loyalty and generosity that we are committed to creating an eternal memorial to him, in the form of a perpetual memorial scholarship for continued education for the benefit of the students of McGregor High School. We are also dedicated to Don's wish of finding a cure for ALS and improving the lives of those affected by this horrible disease. All proceeds of our fundraisers go to these worthy causes. Please join us in our quest to honor Don and help to fulfill his dying wish.
