  7. Description:
  8. The SDF Educational Cooperative is a study group for SDF members 
  9. who wish to sharpen their technical skills and/or assist other
  10. SDF members do the same.  A text is chosen and is worked through at
  11. a moderate pace.  COM and email are used to discuss the material.
  12.  
  13. This session covers Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie's seminal work
  14. THE C PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, second edition.
  15.  
  16. Schedule:
  17. This session will begin on Friday, August 22nd. and the text will be
  18. covered at a rate of one chapter per week.
  19.  
  20. New chapters will be begun on Fridays, giving members the weekend to 
  21. read and study the material and to work on the exercises.  COM sessions
  22. go over the work will take place on Tuesdays at Thursdays at 21:00 EST.
