  3. The following description of the STREK (STAR TREK) game was written
  4. by DAVE THOMAS, the author of STREK.  Dave has since left the Locke
  5. Computer Center, and is not available for further development. The sources
  6. to STREK are not available for distribution.

  8. Date: 28-Mar-79
  9.         A new, vastly improved version of STAR TREK is now available
  10. on the DEC-10.  The latest in a continuing stream of STAR TREK
  11. programs, it is an expanded version of the current 'TREK' program
  12. and contains practically every feature implemented in any other
  13. known STAR TREK game program.  A full description of features and
  14. use of the program can be printed out on the lineprinter by typing:
