  1. [HELP SEND short]
  2. The SEND command is used to send a message to another TTY line.
  3. form of the command:
  4. SEND TTY46 HELLO THERE
  5.         or TTY may be omitted as in:
  6. SEND 46 HELLO THERE
  7.         or, using the JOB NUMBER:
  8. SEND JOB 12 HELLO THERE
  9.         or, to the computer room:
  10. SEND OPR HELLO COMPUTER OPERATOR
  11.  
  12.        A nifty feature of SEND is to notify yourself when
  13.        your program is finished by typing :
  14. SEND .
  15.        after your last program input.  The "DOT" (.) means send to yourself,
  16.        so you get  a  "bell"  to  tell you the program is finished and the
  17.        terminal is at monitor level.
