COMMENT:A collection of classic articles concerning psychical research, mainly from the period of J.B. Rhine. As such, the experimental basis of the contributions are outdated. The conceptual issues are still with us, however, and the selections are invaluable in providing a historical perspective. For example, the part concerning fraud reproduces many old but influential arguments by figures like George R. Price, Rhine, and S.G. Soal.
