  1. SVLUG General Meeting Directions

  4. Silicon Valley Linux User Group will meet at 7 pm in Cisco Systems's
  5. Gateway Conference Center Building J.  That's at 255 W. Tasman Drive
  6. near Vista Monta±a, San Jose (between Great America Parkway and N.
  7. First Street).
  8.  
  9.    (The meeting will NOT be held at Vineyard Conference Center 
  10.    Building 9, used in prior months.)

  12. BY CAR:  From US-101, exit east on the CA-237 freeway (towards
  13. Milpitas), 2 miles to the N. First Street exit, staying in the left lane
  14. of the offramp to turn left onto N. First Street southbound.  Proceed 1
  15. mile, passing Vista Monta±a, to turn right (west) on Tasman.  Proceed
  16. past the first traffic light (Rio Robles), and turn right at the next
  17. parking lot (Cisco Systems).  The closest building is Building K, and
  18. Building J is the next closest one, beyond it.

  20. From I-880, Milpitas:  Exit onto CA-237 (Milpitas-Alviso Road)
  21. westbound.  Proceed a few miles, and exit onto N. First Street, turning
  22. left (south) at the end of the ramp.  Proceed as above.

  24. BY VTA BUS & light rail:  Near the Champion light rail station, on West
  25. Tasman Drive at Champion Court (Mountain View - Baypointe line), and
  26. therefore also served by the adjacent Santa Teresa - Baypointe light
  27. rail line (along N. First Street), and by bus lines 56 Sunnyvale -
  28. Milpitas and 59 East San Jose - Great America, which stop at nearby
  29. First Street light rail stations.  NOTE:  Check

  31. (most) bus routes stop at the end of commute hours.  (Light rail runs 
  32. 24 hours.)
