  1.     Wildcards may be used in the DEL command. This causes
  2.     deletion of all files that match the wildcard specification.
  3.     For example, DEL BIO1.* would delete BIO1.DOC and BIO1.DAT
  4.     and any other file that had BIO1 as the first part of its name.
  5.     If *.* is used, a prompt appears to make sure that you want 
  6.     to delete all the files in the directory.
