#MAIN
Function Keys:
Do = do a function
Print Screen = print screen
ASCII keys = print text
Cursor Control Keys:
The standard arrow 7 8 9
keys can be used in \|/
addition to the 4- -6
numeric keypad keys /|\
shown at the right. 1 2 3
Pressing shift with
a cursor key moves the
cursor ten pixels.
Drawing Mode Keys:
PF1 = use primary color
PF2 = use secondary color
PF3 = don't draw (lift pen)
#MENU
Up Arrow = move to choice
above current choice
Down Arrow = move to choice
below current choice
Select = select current
choice
Cancel = exit menu without
doing anything
#COLOR
Right Arrow = move forward
to next color
Left Arrow = move backward
to previous color
Down Arrow = move down to
change colormap
Select = select color as
primary or secondary
drawing color
Cancel = ignore all changes
and exit
#COLORMAP
Down Arrow = move to color
below current color
Up Arrow = move to color
above current color
Right Arrow = increase
color intensity
Left Arrow = decrease
color intensity
Select = select new color-
map settings, but do
not select new primary
or secondary drawing
color
Cancel = ignore all changes
and exit
#BLOCK POSITION
You are now in the block
definition mode. Use the
cursor keys to position the
box around the block that
you wish to mark. The
Select key is used to move
the arrow to the opposite
corner of the marker box.
The Do key performs the
function that was pre-
viously selected from the
menu. The Cancel key
aborts the function.
#BLOCK RELOCATE
You are now in the block
positioning mode. Use the
cursor keys to move the
box to the new position.
The Do key performs the
function that was pre-
viously selected from the
menu. The Cancel key
exits the function.
#TEXT
You are now in the text
positioning mode. The 'A'
represents the position
and style of the next text
character. The standard
cursor controls can be used
in addition to the
following keys:
PF1 = increase size
PF2 = decrease size
PF3 = rotate left
PF4 = rotate right
Addtnl Options = italic
(alternates on/off)
Select = select new
position/attributes
and exit
Cancel = ignore new
position/attributes
#FILE
Enter a file name and press
Return, or press Cancel to
abort.
#LINE
You are now in the vector
definition mode. Use the
cursor keys to position the
endpoints of the line you
wish to draw. The Select
key is used to move the
arrow to the opposite end
of the line. The Do key
draws the line perminently
on the screen using the
primary drawing color.
The Cancel key aborts the
function.
#PATTERN
Use the arrow keys to
position the blinking
cursor at the appropriate
pattern boxes, and press
PF1 or PF2 to set that box
to represent primary or
secondary color, respec-
tively. Then press Select
to start the fill, or
Cancel to abort.
Note: you can not fill
over a pattern, and the
primary and secondary
colors must be different
than the color of the area
that you are filling.
#EXIT
Press the letter Y if you
want to return to the
operating system, or N if
you want to stay in DRAW.
