  2.                                ECHO OPTION

  4.     With ECHO ON the keys are ECHOED as soon as they are typed, during 
  5.     the  exercises (DEFAULT).  If this option is OFF then what you type 
  6.     is not displayed until you hit <RETURN>, although the cursor will 
  7.     move across the screen, under the next letter to be typed.
  8.          
  9.     Once you hit <RETURN>, the line that you have typed will be 
  10.     displayed, while the following line in the exercise will appear.  
  11.     The line that you typed will remain visible until you type the first 
  12.     letter of the new line.

  14.     Do not turn ECHO OFF until you are thoroughly familiar with the 
  15.     keyboard.  It helps replicate the experience of copying text from 
  16.     separate sheet, when you are looking at the original on a copy holder, 
  17.     next to the screen, rather than at the screen itself.
