  1. This diskette contains files for the large-memory-implementation
  2. of Version 6 of Icon for MS-DOS as follows:

  4.     arc.exe        archiving utility
  5.     iconexe.arc    archived executable binary files [280k]
  6.     icondoc.arc    archived documents [97k]
  7.     samples.arc    archived sample programs and data [3k]
  8.  
  9. The figures in brackets indicate the approximate amount of disk space
  10. needed for the unloaded files.
  11.  
  12. The executable files should be unloaded on a place on your PATH specification.
  13. For example, if this diskette is mounted in your A drive and you set
  14. your current directory to where you want the files, the following
  15. will do:
  16.  
  17.     a:arc x a:iconexe.arc
  18.  
  19. The "x" instructs arc to extract all files from the named archive.
  20. A summary of the range of capabilities of arc can be obtained by
  21.  
  22.     a:arc h
  23.  
  24. The documents and sample programs can be unloaded in a similar fashion
  25. to the executable files.
