Important Names & Dates
The Names & Dates program is the first in a series which
are designed to directly integrate with the Rocksoft Address
Book program. Using the Database created by the Address Book
program, Structure ID numbers are used to reference entries
in the Names & Dates Database.
The Names & Dates program will allow the user to enter
Anniversary dates, First names and Birthdates of family members
and years in which Christmas cards have been either sent and/or
received from these families. The Database can be printed for
hardcopy storage or you may list on the screen individual data
for each family. There is also an option of displaying a selected
month, which indicates days in which activity occurs.
*
Menu Options:
Browse Master File - produces a list of the Last Name,
First Name, City, State & Phone
of all entries, in alphabetical
order. Those entries which blink
indicate data was found in the
Names & Dates Database. Entering
a number (1-5) will display that
information on the screen.
Edit Names & Dates - Upon entry of the last 3 digits of
a families last name, data will be
displayed on the screen and changes
can be made.
*
Display Month - Enter any month, and you will see,
at a glance, all days within that
month that have activity.
Print Names & Dates - Will summerize all data found in
both the Address Book Database and
the Names & Dates Database.
