  7.    Far Manager is so tightly integrated with its plugins that it is  simply
  8. meaningless to talk about Far and  not  to  mention  the  plugins.  Plugins
  9. present an almost limitless expansion of the features of Far.

  11.    Without going into details, some of the capabilities can be noted:

  13.   * syntax highlighting in program source texts.
  14.   * working with FTP-servers (including access through proxy).
  15.   * search and replace in many files at the same time, using regular
  16.     expressions.

  18.     consisting of substitution symbols and templates.
  19.   * NNTP/SMTP/POP3/IMAP4 clients and sending messages to a pager.
  20.   * working with non-standard text screen resolutions.
  21.   * conversion of texts from one national code page to another.
  22.   * manipulating the contents of the Recycle Bin.
  23.   * Process priority control on local or network PC.
  24.   * Words autocomplete in editor and working with templates.
  25.   * Windows system registry editing.
  26.   * Creating and modifying Windows shortcuts.
