You should see square bracket and blinking cursor. When the cursor blinking you are n the 40 column mode Type PR#3 then <RETURN> You should now see a solid rectangular cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screen. The solid cursor tells you that the card now in the 80 column mode DEACTIVATING THE Ileasy Ram CARD To deactivate the Hleasy Ram Card, simply press the <ESCAPE> key release it and then press Control-Q> This will bring back the blinking cursor and put the computer back into the 40 column mode To reactivate the card you must type PR#3 again SWITCHING THE DISPLAY While the card IS active you can switch back and forth between the 40 and 80 column displays.
