  1. Use the GO command to select a current message base.  When selecting a base,
  2. use a name obtained from the BASES command.  The go command is of the format:
  3. GO <basename>
  4. Note that you only must supply an identifying portion of the base name.  For
  5. example, if you want to select a base called COMPUTE, the following would
  6. be valid:

  8. GO COMPUTE
  9. GO COMP
  10. GO COM
  11.  
  12. In addition, you may leave out the word GO completely.  For example,
  13.  
  14. COMPUTE
  15. COMP
  16. COM
  17.  
  18. Once the current base has been selected, it will be displayed at the main
  19. prompt. 
  20. COMPUTE>      or       COMPUTE!DIR>
  21. In the second case, DIR is the name of the currently selected download
  22. directory (always preceeded by an exclamation point).
