  18. SHADOWMAKER is an Intuition based font Shadow and ANtialiasing generator.
  19. Using a WYSIWYG real time interface, Antialiasing and Shadows are added
  20. to normal Amiga Fonts. The result is a broadcast quality ColorFont, useable
  21. in hundreds of Amiga programs. Total LOAD/CONVERT/ANTIALIASE/SAVE times are
  22. under 1 minute.

  25. This is a COMPLETE WORKING VERSION of the COmmercial release of SHADOWMAKER.
  26. The only RESTRICTION is that the final Font height at SAVE times must be
  27. less then 40 pixels in height.

  29. This is version 1.5, a major upgrade from 1.4. The biggest change is the
  30. addition of a small utility to enhance the use of SHADOWMAKER fonts in
  31. all aplications that use the Amiga Text routines. This consists of a small
  32. patch that allows you to :
  33. 1.  Remap the colors of the Face, Shadow and Antialiasing bitplanes
  34.     directly in DPaintIII or your favourite Paint program.
  35. 2. Use any SHadow direction without worrying about overlapping
  36. The included patch/utility is named ON-TOP. It's main job is to make sure
  37. that the character's Face is always drawn "ON-TOP" of the Shadow,
  38. regardless of Shadow direction or small kerning/intercharacter spacing
  39. values. ON-TOP is fully compatible with the ColorText wedge. ON-TOP
  40. completely replaces the Colortext wedge for SHADOWMAKER fonts to allow
  41. for compatability with even those programs that do not currently support
  42. the ColorFont standard under 1.3 WB.
