  1. This is disk 429 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. ATCopy        A program to copy files from the Amiga side of a system
  6.         equipped with a PC/AT bridgeboard, to the PC side, using
  7.         wildcards.  Copies directly through the shared memory.
  8.         Supports CLI and WorkBench usage.  This is version 2.1,
  9.         an update to version 2.0 on disk 406.  Shareware, binary
  10.         only.

  13. CLImax        A command like NewCLI or NewShell except that it creates a
  14.         borderless CLI or Shell window on a custom screen.  Now you
  15.         can use the whole display just like a non-windowing computer.
  16.         Requires ConMan 1.3 or newer.  Release three, vastly improved
  17.         over the first release on disk 224.  Includes source.

  20. Dr        Another alternative CLI directory lister command.  This one
  21.         features extreme optimization for speed, a variety of output
  22.         formats, hiding of .info files by default, and AmigaDOS
  23.         pattern matching.  It is pure (residentable).  It is intended
  24.         to outperform all other directory listers.  Includes the
  25.         additional utilities ForEvery and Whichever.  Release 1.2,
  26.         includes source.

  29. FixCLI        A tiny pure command which fixes problems with CLI's not
  30.         created by other CLI processes.  A new CLI or Shell created
  31.         by such programs as PopCLI or DMouse gets no path and no
  32.         current directory.  FixCLI very quickly and efficiently gives
  33.         a path to a CLI that does not have one (it looks for other
  34.         processes that have valid paths) and sets the current
  35.         directory as specified if none is already set.  Put it in
  36.         your S:Shell-Startup script.  Includes source.

  39. MoveSYS        Reassigns SYS:, C:, S:, L:, LIBS:, DEVS:, and FONTS: to a new
  40.         disk or directory in one step.  Can be used from CLI or
  41.         Workbench; just click it and shift-double-click a disk or
  42.         drawer icon.  More flexible and robust than some other
  43.         programs written for the same purpose.  It's small and pure. 
  44.         Second release (the one on disk 224 worked from CLI only).

  48. RunBack        A very compact version of the popular utility for starting a
  49.         CLI process in the background, without preventing the CLI
  50.         window from closing.  This version is pure and only 468 bytes
  51.         long.  Requires the NULL: device, which is included.  Using
  52.         NULL: makes it more flexible and robust than older RunBacks. 
  53.         Can optionally delay up to nine seconds after starting the
  54.         command.  Includes source in assembly.

  57. Scrub        A floppy drive cleaning program which automatically detects
  58.         which drive has a cleaner diskette in it.  Spins it for
  59.         thirty seconds while moving the heads around.  Pure.

  63. Timer        The timer device made easy!  Example of how to create both
  64.         synchronous and asynchronous waits.  Includes a sample C
  65.         program, a detailed technical discussion, and modules that
  66.         you can plug in to your C programs.

  69. Tripppin    A Workbench game based on an out-of-print board game.  The
  70.         object is a race in which each move you make restricts your
  71.         opponent's choice of countermoves.  Features a computer
  72.         opponent of adjustable toughness.  Includes source.

  75. Uedit-Stuff    A variety of configuration material for Uedit.  Includes
  76.         stuff for remembering multiple chunks of deleted text,
  77.         interfacing through Rexx with a terminal program, displaying
  78.         matching '(' characters when you press ')', expanding
  79.         abbreviations into phrases as you type, easily shifting lines
  80.         and blocks of text left or right, improvements to several
  81.         existing Uedit features, and more.

  84. V        A front-end for Commodore's More or some other text viewer
  85.         that can be made resident.  Can be used from Workbench,
  86.         greatly reducing disk loading time because V is much smaller
  87.         than More, which need not be loaded if it is resident.  From
  88.         CLI, causes More to create a new window, specified with an
  89.         environment variable, rather than using the CLI window.  V is
  90.         itself residentable.  Much improved since the version on
  91.         disk 224, to which it is only distantly related.  Includes
  92.         source in assembly.
