  1. Welcome to the Almathera FishRod PD copier.
  2.  
  3. The copier has been designed specifically for CDPD2 and was made
  4. to make the process of copying Fish and JAM disks to your floppy
  5. drives easier.
  6.  
  7. Remember that you must use a previously AmigaDos formatted
  8. diskette before you copy the PD on to it.  For this reason I have
  9. included a "DiskFormat" option on the FishRod itself.
  10.  
  11. To start the FishRod simply double-click the FishRod icon and 
  12. the program will load.
  13.  
  14. Once the FishRod window has come up on the Workbench screen you
  15. will see a large list in the middle of the window with a
  16. scrollbar on its right.  Use the scrollbar to scroll down and up
  17. the list.
  18.  
  19. There are five gadgets above the list, Disk Format, DF0:, DF1:,
  20. DF2:, DF3:.
  21.  
  22. Here is a brief explanation of what they are and how to use
  23. them:

  26. Disk Format
  27. -----------
  28. This gadget is used to format a disk so that it may be used with
  29. your Amiga.
  30.  
  31. Disks have to be formatted before you can copy PD on to it.  If
  32. you already have a formatted empty disk then you may use it.
  33.  
  34. Once you have clicked on the Disk Format gadget you are shown a
  35. window with five gadgets: DF0:, DF1:, DF2:, DF3:, BACK.
  36.  
  37. DF0: to DF3: are the possible disk drives you may have attached
  38. yo your system.  If you only have one floppy disk drive with
  39. your system it's DF0:.
  40.  
  41. The BACK gagdet is used to go back to the main menu if you've
  42. changed your mind and you don't want to format a disk anymore.

  45. DF0: DF1: DF2: DF3:

  47. This gadgets are to select which drive you want to copy the PD
  48. disk you've selected from the list in the main screen.

  50. REMEMBER TO SELECT A DISK TO BE COPIED BEFORE YOU SELECT THE
  51. DRIVE FOR THE DISK TO BE COPIED ON TO.

  53. Once clicked on a drive you will be asked to confirm your choice
  54. before copying commences by clicking on either YES WAY or NO
  55. WAY.

  57. Once the copy has been confirmed please wait for your Amiga to
  58. copy the data from your CD to floppy, it will take a while and
  59. when it's finished it will automatically go back to the main
  60. screen.

  63. FishRod for use with CDPD Volume 1
  64. ----------------------------------
  65. Please put a disk into drive df0: and double click on the MAKEDISK
  66. icon if you want a version of the FishRod to be used with CDPD Volume 1.

  68. Once the disk has been made please reboot the CDTV with CDPD Volume 1,
  69. insert the floppy disk in df0: and double-click the INSTALL icon on the
  70. disk.

  72. After the script has finished you will find the fishrod in your RAM disk,
  73. simply double-click the Ram Disk icon and then use the FishRod as usual.

  75. This verision of the FishRod works the SAME WAY as the FishRod found
  76. in this CD.
