  3.              History file for SmartPlay v3.0 by Xtreme Intelligence

  6.   The history file of the SmartPlay  versions 1.0-1.4b  was removed in the
  7.   2.0 release, as the whole SmartPlay progam was re-written, and all those
  8.   previous bugfixes went obsolete.  This file will now contain all changes
  9.   in the 2.x and later versions of SmartPlay.

  20.   As SmartPlay  once  again  got  radically  modified,  the version number
  21.   changed to 3.0.  The userinterface is  really  improved, and you may now
  22.   select your modules right out of the programlist just by clicking on the
  23.   mainwindow! A small listgadget was added for this purpose, and the other
  24.   buttons where somewhat shuffled around. All proportional gadgets, as the
  25.   volume and balance knobs, are now updated in realtime.  This should make
  26.   them even more comfortable to use..

  28.   SmartPlay also got a FASTMEMORY replayer for ST/NT/PT modules, so you'll 
  29.   now be able to play  REALLY  big  modules  on your 512K chip Amiga. This
  30.   option is not fully tested yet, but works fine on a normal 7.09Mhz A500,
  31.   without any loss of performance on highspeed serial transfers and normal
  32.   multitasking. Read more in the DOC file about this nice option..

  34.   SmartPlay will now properly allocate the AudioChannels,  so there should
  35.   be _no_ problems with other programs alert-sounds. The channels are only
  36.   allocated as long as SmartPlay is plaing a module, so all  channels  are
  37.   deallocated again when you STOP or PAUSE your module. The REPEAT PROGRAM
  38.   option in the configuration was replaced by a more useful ALLOC CHANNELS
  39.   ON/OFF switch.

  41.   The EXCTRACT command for  the  LhA  is now configurable form the config-
  42.   window. For LZ and LhA, the line "-N e >NIL:" should work just fine, but
  43.   if you are using the new LhA standard, the -q option can be used instead
  44.   of the -N and >NIL: commands. (If you have enough memory, a -b400 option
  45.   added to this string will make the I/O buffer big enough for big modules
  46.   too..! You can add any LhA supported option to this string..)

  48.   More -lhx- standards supported.

  50.   The height of the ReqTools filerequesters will now be the default height
  51.   defined in the ReqTools preferences. The  ReqTools  prefs program is now
  52.   also included in the SmartPlay archive.

  54.   All error-requesters will now be centered on the SmartPlay window.

  56.   Some problems with the proportional gadgets, using  big  ScreenFontSizes
  57.   removed.

  59.   The SidMon1.0, SidMon II, BPSoundMon, SoundFX v1.3, PowerMusic, Promizer
  60.   v1.8, and old  SoundTracker  15instrument  formats  added. ST/NT/PT SONG
  61.   files are now supported too.

  77.   In this version some new features was added, and some bugs from the  2.0
  78.   version was removed. The problems while loading some Med&Octamed modules
  79.   is now removed.

  81.   Digital Sound Studio (MMU0) modules now supported trough the SmartRePlay
  82.   library (lib.version 2.0). A bug in the FutureComposer replayer fixed as
  83.   well.

  88.   The CD-Interface got a new outlook. The CHIP-Mem usage was also reduced,
  89.   when the images where reorganized.

  92.   new options added to the configuration.

  94.   Balance and Volume gadgets added to the Main-Window.  The values will be
  95.   stored in the configuration file.

  98.   at the same position of the screen as the Main-Window.

  100.   Zoom code fixed. In the 2.0 version, the CD-Interface window didn't grow
  101.   enough, if it was un-zoomed at a bad position of the screen.

  103.   Some probelms with really big screenfontsizes removed.

  105.   The next/prev SongPosition buttons on the interface window is now unused
  106.   when playing other than normal ST/NT/PT modules.

  108.   An annoying bug was removed, wich caused SmartPlay to crash if there was
  109.   no ReqTools.Library available. (Thanx to Sheikh for reporting this bug).

  119.   The 2.0 version was a major update of the SmartPlay program.  Now Smart-
  120.   Play features a nice CD-Style userinterface,  and a easy-to-use program-
  121.   list editor.  As the code was completly re-written, there was some funny
  122.   small bugs in this version.

  125. VERSIONS 1.0-1.5a Rel. 921003-921110:

  128.   These old versions from v1.0 (Program size 6364 bytes:) to 1.5a was only
  129.   designed to play ST/NT/PT modules,  without any windows or programlists. 
  130.   The versions between 1.5 and 2.0 was  skipped,  when the program was re-
  131.   written from  scratch.  The bugifxes etc. of these previous versions are
  132.   not included in this history file anymore.
