  9.    Textra 1.13 is the User-Friendly Text Editor for the Amiga.  Easy-to- 
  10.    use and full of features... background printing and ARexx script 
  11.    operation, UNDO, multiple windows in different fonts, convienient 
  12.    'mouse-drag-select' paradigm, and the list goes on.
  13.    
  14.    Great emphasis (and effort) has gone into the user-interface to make 
  15.    Textra easy to get used to, learn and become proficient with.  There
  16.    is even a Tutorial ARexx script to help beginners get started (see
  17.    below for kwik-start instructions for it).
  18.    
  19.    Textra is versatile enough to excel as a programmer's text editor 
  20.    as well as crank out the occasional book report or letter.  This is 
  21.    because it includes some useful page/paragraph-formatting tools 
  22.    among it's ARexx scripts.
  23.    
  24.    Textra is very useful in the programmers arena.  This version
  25.    includes scripts that allow Textra to act as an integrated text editor
  26.    for JForth Professional 3.x and HSPascal. 
  27.    
  28.    To get started with a hard disk, simply launch the "Install_Textra"
  29.    and it will prompt you through the installation of Textra and its
  30.    support files.
  31.    
  32.       (FLOPPY USERS: If you are short on disk space, then at least
  33.                      temporarily assign rexx: to the scripts drawer
  34.                      of this package, which will allow you to...)

  37.    Launch the Tutorial ARexx script as follows...
  38.    
  39.       1. Launch Textra by double-clicking on its icon.  (If you
  40.          already have it up, proceed to step 3)
  41.       
  42.       2. In the file-requester that appears, press CANCEL
  43.       
  44.       3. Pull down the "Utilities, ARexx..." menu item.
  45.       
  46.       4. In the ARexx requester that appears, enter:
  47.       
  48.             Tutorial
  49.          
  50.          into one of the string gadgets (if not already in one)
  51.          followed by RETURN.  The tutorial will soon greet you.
  52.

  56.    categorized, new feature/bug fix information.
