  1.     Welcome to bBaseIII - the EASY database.

  3.     It has been suggested that prospective users might be scared off by
  4.     the sheer size of the "doc" file.  But, as the number of features in
  5.     bBaseIII has grown, the size became necessary to describe them all.
  6.  
  7.     In actual fact, the program is quite intuitive.  Users of bBaseII will
  8.     feel right at home, but for those who don't like long-winded
  9.     documentation, just run bBaseIII, load the sample database
  10.     "Recipes.bbase", and play with it for awhile.  I'm sure that you will
  11.     be comfortable with it very quickly.

  13.     This Demo version has all of the features of the Registered version,
  14.     but, it will not Load databases of more than 600 records, nor Save
  15.     databases of more than 30 records.

  17.     Those who register will get two versions of bBaseIII; a 600 record
  18.     version designed for those with 1 Megabyte of memory, and a 1250
  19.     record version for those with more than 1 Megabyte.  Both have exactly
  20.     the same features, except for the size capability.

  22.     If you have databases that were created under bBaseII, and you want
  23.     to try them with bBaseIII, (and I hope you will), just run the Convert
  24.     program, select your database, and they will be converted into a
  25.     format that is compatible with bBaseIII.  You can then try all of
  26.     the new features of bBaseIII.
