  1. VIEWMAP

  4. This program allows you to scan through the maps that are in the
  5. general.mix file and save them to a map image.
  6.  
  7. It also shows you the offsets in the file of these maps (so you can
  8. use them in map-p for example).
  9.  
  10. Usage
  11. -----
  12. viewmap general.mix <mapfile.map>
  13.  
  14. If mapfile.map does not exist, it will create a file called new.map
  15. (and overwrite it if it already exists).
  16.  
  17. Navigating
  18. ----------
  19. You can use the mouse to move around the maps (clicking on the map 
  20. itself will tell you what value that cell has.
  21. Use the Next and Prev buttons to flip between maps. You can also use
  22. the left and right arrows to do this.
  23. Use the Save button to save this map to a map image. You can also use
  24. the 's' key.
  25. Use the Close button to exit. You can also use the ESC key to exit.

  27. Highlighting
  28. ------------
  29. I've highlighted the cells that represent cliff faces so that it is a
  30. little easier to distinguish maps. (I hope that these are all the cliff
  31. faces)
