-
- This program (written by Stuart Ford, it's Help program (written by Loring)
- and the Interface module (written by Simon Huntington) are independent of
- each other and purely Public Domain as long as no code or data is changed in
- any way.
-
- Introduction
- ------------
-
- !Heure is designed to help school children tell the time in French. Although
- this is aimed at schools, anyone can use it because it's public domain. This
- is version 1.01, an improvement on 1.00. The info window is much tidier and
- now sports the author's info window. I have dumped the window icons, I have
- now discovered MENUs.
-
- Instructions
- ------------
-
- Load in the usual way by clicking on the Filer icon. Click on the new iconbar
- icon to open the time window. The program needs to wait for the '5 Minute
- time sync' when it first starts up. When the computer's internal clock
- reaches a five minute marker (ie. when the minute hand points to a 5, 10, 15,
- 20 etc..), the application will translate the time into French and display
- it. This is updated every 5 minutes. The window will flicker for one second
- when it changes to attract your attention.
-
- Please note that this is my first WIMP multitasking program. Forgive me if
- it is a bit crude. However I have compensated by using the Interface Manager
- to a certain extent and I have got the French right (I had to, I'm doing it
- at GCSE in two months time!)
