AceComm supports BIOS screen writes for the Terminal screen. AceComm menus
place the cursor in front of each menu selection.
AceComm default uses direct screen writes for the Terminal Screen. To turn on
BIOS screen writes, Enter the PRM-data setup area. PRM-data setup is available
via the <PrmData_> macro. The default key press for the macro is ALT P.
From PRM-data area main menu select "Terminal Area" menu selection, and from
"Terminal Area" menu select "Terminal Screen" menu. The bottom selection inside
"Terminal Screen" menu toggles video write from direct and BIOS.
When BIOS write are on, the status line is forced off, the scroll back buffer
does not get updated.
I'm good at responding to suggestions. I'll do my best to help make AceComm
speech friendly. feedback is the key.
At this time I do not know how this will work in the Windows version.
I do have control enough to sneak BIOS write into my Windows version.
We will see what happens after it's release this fall.
