  5. Defensive tactics will vary depending on what type of mission you
  6. are flying, eg. if you are flying on air superiority then don't 
  7. use the stealth option.  This is because you have to let the enemy
  8. aircraft lock on before the AWACS will give you permission to fire.
  9. When permission is granted, switch your ECM on.  For bombing 
  10. missions where you do not need to engage enemy aircraft with stealth
  11. on, you will not need your air-to air radar until the enemy spots 
  12. you.

  14. Evading missiles are quite easy.  When you see the launch light go
  15. red, check to see what type of missile have been fired and switch
  16. the ECM on.  Now wait until the missile is quite close (when the
  17. game says "BREAK") and then use the appropriate decoy.

  19. It is important to let the missile get really close to you as some
  20. missiles are launched over 30 miles away where firing off chaff
  21. and flares will have little effect.
