GOBLINS QUEST 3--A WALKTHRU
This is a complete walkthru of Goblins Quest 3. It will give you a
direct way to complete the game. I have tried to present the
shortest way of doing things. I have not included all the fun and
silly things you can do in the game. If you use this walkthru to
play the game, you will miss a lot of the fun that comes from
exploring and trying actions that may not be successful, but may be
interesting. However, if you play and get stuck and frustrated, then
this walkthru should be helpful. IÆm assuming that you talk to
everyone possible on new screens.
FLYING SHIP
The goal in this area is to get off of the flying ship. Try the
parachute. OOPS! That didnÆt work. Check out the toolbox. There
are several things you want there. Use your coin on the screw
holding the hook. Use hook on looped end of rope. Untie the knotted
rope and use club to free parrot. Then use your plunger to free
Chump. Use Chump on weight while Blount waits by hook to get
umbrella. Use Blount on hand and Chump on springboard to get
the tooth. Put umbrella in hole in barrel and then cut the barrel
rope with the tooth. Off you go!
IDOL AND ROYAL GUARDS
Use umbrella on hot air, and look through IdolÆs mouth. Wow! Now
you have a reason to bash all those guards. Use club on Hercules
and Gromelon. Pick up toast. Use coin on Mac and then the club.
Use toast in helmet and club on toast to make crumbs. Use springy
stone to get behind Babzau. Pour crumbs down his back and use
club. Put shield on branch. Use hand on Kendo, then club. Stand on
rock behind Zembla and use pepper on him. Use Chump on Django
and have Blount pull DjangoÆs tongue. Use wooden club to repair
ladder, and place Blount near big stone. Use Chump on Punky, and
have Blount push stone onto PunkyÆs head when he leans forward.
DEATH
Pick up matches and use on close rough area. Move mouse directly
up from grave and click on top rough area. Blount will find his own
way there and give you light. Break off end of scythe. Use on all
wispÆs dens. Use also on tube on clownÆs flower. Take clownÆs
spectacles. Use ladle on blood. Use spectacles on skull. Open skull
and blue wisp will enter. Close skull to capture. Put blue wisp in
bowl, and talk to blue ghost. Then remove blue wisp with ladle. Put
blood in pirateÆs bottle and use match on wooden leg. Use tube of
water on fire and pick up the yellow wisp and put in bowl, and
push yellow button in AmoniakÆs name. Put blue wisp in bowl with
yellow wisp. Get cork from green hand, and put mirror in hand. Put
bottle of blood on Pedestal and cork it with red wisp inside. Use
ladle to remove blue and yellow wisp from bowl and put red wisp in
bowl. Use scythe on red vampire. Put blue wisp in bowl with red
and put spectacles on purple ghost. Now put yellow wisp in bowl
with blue and red and watch the fun.
GIANTS IN THE COUNTRY
Pick up dolmen and pretty stone. Use dolmen on thorns. Stand on
lever and use Chump on piece of meat. Talk to King, and princess
(by lifting her roof). Get memorum from Knight Brayer. Use
haystack in basin to make sponge. Use sponge on fire. Use
pitchfork on meat. Go to the Inn.
INN
Use spoon on stone to make a catapult. Use Chump on spoon. Go
through crack to get sugar cube. Use on spoon to catapult Chump
up to paprika. Put Blount under paprika. Use Chump on paprika
and meat on paprika cloud. Take spicy meat back to country.
IN THE COUNTRY AGAIN
Put memorum in basin. Put coin in ear, and pitchfork in nostril.
Use meat on pitchfork. DonÆt forget your coin.
BACK IN THE INN
Use Chump on customerÆs hand. Have Blount give sugar to
customer. Use plunger on cage and leash on plunger. Climb leash
and use coin on Othello. Use key on little door and dragon on
OthelloÆs house. Trade key with Othello for coin, and give note to
Captain. Talk to Korin and give pretty stone to her. Then look in
her sword handle.
WYNNONA AT FOURBALUSÆS FORT
Pick up stick by monk and use on flint. Click on little animal to get
fuses. Use flint on pan flute. Get powder from keg. Use small pipe
on hollow. Use powder and fuse on pipe. Use flint on bark. Use
stick on helmet on skull to get helmet. Use helmet on glue. Use
glue on stick in hollow to finish dynamite. Use flint on stone head
to light dynamite. First dynamite always blows up Wynnona. DonÆt
despair. It wonÆt happen again. Make more dynamite, use dynamite
on beam, wall, brick, and door. Use flint on small pipe in hollow to
make new flute for Inca. Make more dynamite, and use on rock in
the foreground. Put Ooya on tree stump at top of screen. Give the
Inca his flute so that he will play. Have Ooya get on Condor Use
Ooya on skull and bamboo. Use bamboo and hairs for bigger
dynamite. Use bigger dynamite on barred window and grate.
Fourbalus will talk to you. Walk closer to him and talk to him, and
you will be done with this scene.
TOWN
After you talk to everyone in town, use your umbrella on the hole
in NannyÆs roof. Then talk to her again. Use NannyÆs hot water
bottle on the egg on the roof.
STORE
Use coin and then letter on shop keeper. Get the boa boa egg and
key. Use key on moonstone lamp. Now talk to the shop keeper!
Click on cupboard, then on cornice. Get hammer from opening. Use
hammer on storage cabinet and shop keeper. Get spaghetti and look
in pot. Get decoy from hole in storage cabinet. Jump on couch and
then on spring that appears. Use hammer on Gidouille. Get horn.
LAB
Ring doorbell to lab twice to get into lab. Use left hand on spell
book to read. Click on switch to turn pages. You need to make
growixer first. Use Gidouille horn on ashtray. Light with lighter.
Use burned horn on mixer. Use left hand on faucet to get water in
cup. Put in kettle. Put spaghetti in cold water. Use lighter on
heater. Put cooked spaghetti in mixer. Put boa boa egg on hot
water bottle. When hatched, put shell in mortar. Use pestle on
shell. Put crushed shell in mixer. Start mixer with left hand on
on/off switch. Use growixer on baby boa. Make more growixer and
put in bottle. This will go with you when you leave the lab.
TOWN
Use growixer on bud and plant. Stand below young lady and have
Fulbert climb floriane stem. Blount picks up letter. Have Fulbert
climb stem again. Blount must get the floriane flower before it falls
through the grate. Use love letter on mirror twice. Use growixer on
boucassier. Use lever to lower cannonball. Have Blount stand on
cannonball while Fulbert jumps on lever. Have Fulbert climb plant
and go to edge of roof by shoe sole. HeÆll stretch across gap, and
Blount can walk across to get shoe sole. Jump down chimney and
go to store.
STORE
Have Fulbert press the button. Have Woolfy pick up night stand
while Fulbert gets the soap out from under it. Use hammer on trap
to get crocomouth bone.
LAB
To make speedixer, boil the shoe sole like you did the spaghetti.
Put in mixer. Crush bone in mortar with pestle. Put in mixer. Put
floriane in still and use lighter on burner. Put extract in mixer.
Use left hand on on/off switch to turn on mixer. Put speedixer in
bottle.
TOWN
Have Fulbert bridge gap from NannyÆs roof to bell. Have Blount use
Speedixer, then use decoy on bell. This will call a female bird. This
next part is a bit tricky. You must go back over Fulbert, tap the
boucassier on the shoulder, so that he will see the she bird and fall
in love. This will cause him to shed a feather that Blount must run
down and get before it disappears in the grate. This is why he
needs the speedixer, so he can run fast enough to catch the feather.
It may take you a few tries to get it right. You now have all the
ingredients for flyixer. You might want to read the recipe by using
love letter on mirror again. Back to the Lab.
LAB
To make flyixer, pour water in empty basin. Dip soap in water
making bubble formula. Use coin on fan. Quickly pick up key, dip
in bubble solution and click on fan. The bubble will automatically
go in mixer. Use boucassier feather on ashtray and burn. Pour
feather ash into mixer. Put memorum in still and light heater to
get tears of joy. Put tears in mixer and mix. Put flyixer in bottle.
Enjoy!
CLOUDS
Talk to Ooya. Use pump to blow up balloon. Click on Ooya and
have him grab the balloon as it pauses near him. This will give
him a ride to the next island. Have Ooya click on tuft of hair.
Pump up another balloon and let Ooya take another ride. Let him
use his wand on the stone there to make a walkway back to the
giant. Have Blount use club on fishing line, and then fishing pole
on cloud. Now have Ooya stand near the giant and blow up another
balloon. Then have Ooya jumps onto the rope of the balloon while
Blount stabs the cloud with knife. This will get Ooya to the next
island. Again have him use his wand on the stone on the edge of
the island to make a bridge. Put one sandbag into the basket and
use knife on ballast This should take care of the ram. Now its time
to visit the next scene.
FOLIANDRE
Stand Ooya on the shovel and have Blount push the catapult
control button once. Then have Blount look in telescope. This
should catapult Ooya next to the cheese. Have him use his wand on
cheese. Blount should then push catapult control button twice and
get onto shovel. Ooya then pushes button once, and uses his wand
on the Colossus ship painting, so Colossus will see a ship and start
the catapult. This should put Blount next to the cheese. Blount uses
fishing pole on worm. Blount pushes catapult control button twice
and loader button once, getting a stone on catapult. Push catapult
control button twice more and have Ooya click on Colossus ship
painting. This should get rid of ColossusÆs helmet. Use fishing pole
on scope. Time to head back to clouds for some fishing.
CLOUDS
Use fishing pole with worm. on hole in clouds. You should catch a
sword fish. Use scope to look at the speck in the ice. Now have
Ooya take the balloon ride again from the giant, again using the
giantÆs sneeze for wind. This time he should make it to the last
island. Have Ooya stand tall hole (not marked) and have Blount use
the lowest geyser. He will cover it with his hand and blow Ooya to
the next island. Have Blount use knife on ballast again, and have
Ooya climb into basket. Then use sandbags on basket to lower it to
icy island. Use Ooya on Bizoo. Use field-glass on Bizoo again, then
take her with you. Head back to Foliandre.
FOLIANDRE
Use sawfish on column. OOPS! YouÆre caged. Use Ooya on caged
Blount. Have BlountÆs shadow talk to the various shadows. Use
Bizoo on Colossus.
COLOSSUSÆS FACE
Click on loose tooth to get toothpick. Click on eye. Use toothpick on
eye. Go in ear on left of screen to get sand out of eye. Click on nose
hair to get a tear and click on grain of sand to kick it onto tear. It
will take a ride. Get toothpick. Walk down scar until junior flea
appears. Hit him with toothpick. Hit Chubby flea and then the two
sister fleas. You have to be quick or youÆll have to start over. Then
hit Mama flea and Papa flea. When the fleas are taken care of, pull
nose hair and ride a tear to the collar. Kick the grain of sand off of
the collar and return to Foliandre.
FOLIANDRE
Pick up the grain of sand and put it into the machinery of catapult.
Get gear. Use knife on robot, and use gear on hole. Get pollen from
robotÆs mouth. Use on Colossus.
COLOSSUSÆS FACE
Jump on nose. When Colossus rubs his nose, get on it again and he
will shoot you up to forehead so you can get pollen. Use toothpick
on nostril, and put pollen in ear on right of screen. Jump on shirt
collar to push pollen into ear.
QUEEN XINAÆS THRONE ROOM
Have Fulbert climb up and get candle. Talk to Queen Xina so
bodyguard appears, and hit him with the hammer. Talk to Queen
again. She will kiss you and you can grab the magic wand while
Mrs. Pythie is covering her eyes. Go in door to right of screen with
both Wolfy and Fulbert. Have Wolfy stand below boxes while
Fulbert climbs colonnade. Have Wolfy try to catch spectacles while
Fulbert goes back out door and gets onto flagstone, breaking the
fall of the spectacles. Pick up spectacles and use to pick up onion.
Put Fulbert on plate and use Wolfy on vegetables. Use Fulbert on
chandelier and he will swing to swinging chandelier and up onto
mantel. Open pot and talk to cook. Pick up fennel and jump down.
Use candle on candleholders. Put candle on middle candleholder
first, light with magic wand. Then put candle in back candle holder,
and light with wand. Finally put candle in front candle holder and
light with wand. Your shadow will say: ôI the shadow command the
opening of the fountain.ö Click on mouth of fountain.
KING BODDÆS THRONE ROOM
Talk to King Bodd, and give him the hand. Use onion of Iron Head
to get his ax. Use wand on candles in same order, middle, back, and
front. Use coin on mouth of fountain.
QUEENÆS THRONE ROOM
Get onto mantel, as before, and give ax to pot. Then use Wolfy on
the fireplace and Fulbert on Candlestick next to Queen. When you
time it right, Fulbert will knock the skull down and the cook will
throw the ax at the cat, cutting the skull loose. It may take a few
tries to get the timing right. Get skull and ax, and head back to the
KingÆs throne room.
KINGÆS THRONE ROOM
Give skull to King. Give wand to buffoon. Get Dish. Give gun to
Tibo. Use Fulbert on roach motel and have Blount give dish to
buffoon. If you time it right, Tibo will shoot at the dish and knock
the slipper from King BoddÆs hand. Then Blount must go pick up
the slipper before Rock Steady does. Now you can go back and give
the Queen Xina her slipper, and then return to the KingÆs throne
room. Use fennel on Rock Steady. Have Fulbert climb Rock SteadyÆs
spear, while Blount stands chair. When swinging chandelier is
closest to Blount, click on the chandelier to have Blount swing
across to the mantel. Talk to Wynnona, the butterfly, and then talk
to King Bodd several times, and then leave to the outside.
CHESS
ThereÆs not much you can do here now, so look around a bit and go
to the big book room.
BIG BOOK ROOM
Click on the geometry book three times, until the arrows jump off
the page. Read the open book, and then click on hole in the tree.
Use arrows on hole in tree. YouÆve got one of the chess pieces you
need. Click on right corner of open book to turn page. Click on page
to read, and then click on tower. Get ink brush. Use Fulbert on pile
of dust, and put Wolfy below him so that he sneezes and blows the
numbers off of the page. Now you need to collect all the numbers
that have blown around. DonÆt forget 6 looped on hook near picture
of shrink. Use numbers on ink bottle, EXCEPT FOR ZERO. If you
use the zero, youÆll have to start over again. Click on sculpture book
to get a compass. Use compass on blank sheet of paper at front of
screen, and Wolfy will draw the 8 you need. To get the nine from
the spider, click Wolfy and spider, and click Fulbert on the moon in
the moonlight scenery. Wolfy will momentarily change and scare
the spider so he lets go of the 9. When all the numbers are in the
ink bottle, use brush in bottle. Use inked brush on page to make
path for knight to get closer. Then use horse on knight. Now you
have the next chess piece you need. The last two you will make out
of wood and marble. Use as on ruler, to get a block of wood, and
use coin on wagon in picture, and then use ink on wagon. Now you
can get a marble block from the picture. Click on drawing book to
learn how to draw and get a piece of chalk. For fun, use ink on
sheet of paper and Wolfy on moon. Turn page of open book again.
Read story. Click on house, and then use ink on house twice to get
a small mandolin. Turn page in book and read story to learn
something about Blount. Time to go back to chess room.
CHESS
Use both hands on balls to juggle. Use coin in piggy bank to chase
out the mouse. Use right hand on mandolin and left hand on
strings to freeze mouse so that you can pick him up. Use chalk on
wood. Pick up hammer with right hand and wood chisel with left
hand. Use hammer on chisel. You have to time it right to get the
hands to work together. Pick up rough piece with right hand and
use on paint. Use ink brush on painted lover piece. Pick up lover
and you will put him on chess board. Use compass on piece of
marble. Pick up hammer with right hand and chisel with left hand
and use hammer on chisel on marble to make rough wolf piece.
Pick up piece with right hand and use on paint, then use ink on
painted piece. Now put your killer piece on the chess board. Read
the instructions. You are now in the chess game.
CHESS GAME
Use the rat on the blue square diagonally in front of the chaperone
to scare him away. Use the bowman on the diagonal green squares
in front of the lover to get rid of the lancers. You must move the
knight to do this. Use Wolfy on the lever, and use the lover on the
square with the mandolin. Give him the tiny mandolin. To get the
key, use the bowman to shoot it down, from one of the green
squares with a snake on it. Have lover use key on door to enter
tower. One mission accomplished. To conquer the King, you must
corner him with the bowman, knight and killer. Use knight on both
brown squares next to king. Put bowman on front square diagonal
from empty square next to king. Use Wolfy on square with ax. You
win the game.
MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL
Get egg. Use on time mirror. Use chick on fat mirror. Pass fat chick
to reflection through the passage. Use fat chick on big hole. HeÆll
change the clock. Use fat chick on thinning mirror twice and pass
him back to Blount. Use skinny chick on small hole. HeÆll change
the clock again so that the alarm will go off. Use skinny chick on
fat mirror once and then use him on time mirror to get a chicken.
Use chicken on fat mirror. Look at old demon and go to the brain.
THE BRAIN MAZE
Use Wolfy on Window of Memories at top of screen. Use Blount on
the button until Colossus appears. Then use Wolfy on picture of
Colossus to get sand out of his eye. Get sand. Use growixer on plant
bud and use Fulbert on plant. Use Wolfy on lever twice and then
use him on rail cart to get to lakeÆs edge. Use Wolfy on lake of
visions to make eyeballs appear. Then use red stone to get up to
lever. Use Blount on rail cart to get to lake, and use grain of sand
on lake. Use Blount on red stone and then use on rail cart to burst
balloon. Have Wolfy use lever once and then quickly jump into rail
cart. If you time it right heÆll take a ride on the fish. Use Wolfy on
wedged decoy. Repeat action with Blount riding the fish so that he
can pick up the decoy. Use decoy on window. Use growixer on
dragon. Click on dragon to ride up to grain and use fat chicken on
grain. Pick up the folly grain. Use decoy on fence. Go in door
nearest lever and use decoy on puddle. Get key. Use on small box
and click on open box to get ointment. Go back to mirror room.
MIRRORS
Use the folly grain on old demon, and have reflection get ugliness
extract. Stand Blount in front of beauty mirror and reflection in
front of ugly mirror. Have Blount use ointment on beauty mirror.
When he is handsome, have reflection use ugliness extract on ugly
mirror. When you time it right, both Blount and reflection will
walk through the mirror.
THE GODS
Use ax on fence and hammer on brick wall. Talk to positive pole to
get string of time. Click on bell to left of screen and then bell on
right of screen and jump on chain when hands are holding it up.
Get sacred score and use on spring. Push both bells again, in the
same order and click on basin. Now you should have two scores.
Use red score on demonÆs music stand and yellow on angelÆs music
stand. To get the demon to play, use hammer on cloud. To get the
angel to play, use coin on halo. You need to get both red and yellow
notes together in the center of the screen. Use the string of time on
the red and yellow notes. Then push the bells again so that the
hands will tie the string around the notes. Now, watch and enjoy.
