The variety of effects available is dramatically increased. Frames or clips can be "touched up" or altered using the graphics packages on the computer. This type of editing can be very expensive, as the computer requires a large amount of memory, and good quality software.
Technology in video editing is constantly being pushed forward to new frontiers with the advent of more advanced computer software.
