The garment quickly found favour with outdoor workers, and the material used evolved into a thick cotton fabric called denim. Today jeans are probably the most popular casual fashion item in the world.
Manufactured in a variety of colours, they are characterized by bright visible stitching, metal rivets and large brand labels. They are hard-wearing and versatile, and are made in all sizes and for all price ranges.
