  36. THE BEATLES - various MIDI files.

  38. ALL IN GENERAL MIDI FORMAT (Drums Channel 10 etc.)

  40. This is an edited collection of the various Beatles files knocking
  41. around the Internet - I've tweaked a few notes, changed a few program
  42. sounds (or 'patches' as I believe you GUS guys like to call them),
  43. converted from various formats and saved them all in MIDI format 1 -
  44. i.e. multiple tracks with each track named by the part on it. All
  45. these files are of course (c) Michael Jackson or whoever else owns the
  46. copyright, and so are not allowed to be lent, sold etc. for commercial
  47. gain.

  49. Many many thanks to all the people who sequenced these originally -
  50. some of the text files have been separated from these sequences
  51. somewhere along the line and I apologise profusely to their original
  52. transcribers for not crediting them.

  56. BECAUSE.MID  - Because (!??)
  57. CANTBUYM.MID - Can't buy me love - translated from the brash synthy version on
  58.                the archive
  59. FOOLHILL.MID - Fool on the Hill - Quiet acoustic version - apologies for the
  60.                voicings if they're wrong - my Beatles compilation tape was
  61.                eaten by the dog.
  62. GUITRWEP.MID - While my Guitar Gently Weeps - converted from MT-32
  63. IMWALRUS -     I am the Walrus
  64. YESTERDY.MID - Yesterday - nice quiet acoustic version, as it should be.

  66. All these were downloaded at some point over the last six months and
  67. converted via a 2.5Mb Atari STFM running a (legitimate) version of
  68. Cubase v.2.  All voicings, pannings, reverb levels, chorus levels etc.
  69. are embedded in each track so those of you with exotic sound cards or
  70. synth modules that don't like them will have to dig 'em out and sort
  71. 'em out. Sorry.  Tested on Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 (mark 1 I think
  72. -anyway, the first one that came out) for GM compatability - and they
  73. all work.
