@#!$*% Activates easter egg. I'm sure you can't find it on your own, so I'll give you some hints: it uses a LOT of modifier keys and has something to do with my name. Note to Mr. Zavtra: your "egg" is warped (z.a.v.t.r.a)!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The self-boot version uses most memory in banks 0-5, and any tools that have claimed that memory tend to get upset when I steal it from them (Event Queue/Heartbeat task damaged errors are common). Don't have anything important on your RAMdisk if you use the self-boot version, as it will probably be lost. Your best bet is to RESET the computer to run the self-boot. You have been warned! FTA's new demos don't have this problem... care to share the secret guys?
I've been coding the IIGS for 1.5 years and have loved every minute of it (well, at least most of them!). I hate MACS: if the IIGS used one of the faster 65816's (which are available up to 15MHz, I think), and used an auxiliary 64K of Ensoniq-dedicated RAM (which is supported by the Ensoniq already) giving it 128K of total sound RAM, then it would blow away most machines out there today. As it stands, it does pretty good anyway, don't you think? I just dream of the day when a company with money comes along and buys the rights to the IIGS, reworks it into the machine it can be, and releases the new killer onto an unsuspecting Apple and IBM computer industry!
